Weekly Beauty Edit 3.29.2015

The moment of truth. Went away for a long weekend which means I had to pack makeup, skincare and hair products. I'm a very light packer, always have been so even I wondered what I would bring along. We've all read those cute cartoons on Facebook about, "You know you're getting old when....." I have a new one: You know you're getting old when you pack more medicine than makeup. And you have to stop at every McDonald's and rest area on the way to your destination which is only 2.5 hours away.

Weekend Away in Beauty
Here's what I chose for my long weekend away and the reasons I chose each specific product. Again, keep in mind I'm a light packer.

Mascara -  Maybelline Mega Plus Volume. I didn't want a dramatic mascara knowing I was going to be casual most of the time. I chose not to take a lash curler, again, the trip was about the trip not my face, so curling lashes, which is something I do every single day, was not worth packing a bulky and somewhat delicate lash curler. Because I was not curling lashes, I did not need a waterproof mascara.

Foundation - MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation - This is always in my top five foundations. It is fast and easy, both important to me when traveling. I have no desire to spend more than 5 or 10 minutes on my face when I'm away on a de-stressing trip. I find this coverage to be outstanding and the finish is lovely on my mature skin. I buffed it in with a flat top kabuki. The Bare Minerals Precision Face brush was clean so that's the one  I packed. If one of my e.l.f. Flat Top Powder brushes was clean, I would've taken one of those.  I was very tempted to pack the L'oreal Infallible Pro-Matte since it comes in a tube and  am really loving it. Not sure what tipped the scale to the Studio Fix. I wouldn't have needed a brush with the L'Oreal. Thinking back, this is probably the one thing I would have done differently.

Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stain
Lipstick - Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain. Brought two colors, one a brighter pink and one a deeper wine color. These stain the lips for long lasting color, are not drying, easy to apply, and light packaging doesn't weigh down my purse - I always carry my lipstick with me!

MAC Pro Longwear
Concealer - MAC Pro Longwear - I use this under my eyes more for brightening than concealing. This did double duty to to use on my red nose (normally I use a drier, waxier concealer on my oily nose). It's not my first choice for my nose but I was not going to be away from our room for long stretches of time and knew I could easily touch up for the evening. I was tempted to bring my Dermablend Cover Creme for my nose but light packing won out over my nose. So what if a few strangers thought I was an alcoholic? (My mother always told me a red nose was as sure sign of an alcoholic). In a pinch if I needed to look flawless, perhaps Prince William and Kate would show up in this small town and invite us to dinner, I could use this concealer as a foundation and warm it up with my multi-purpose bronzer.

Blush - Becca Beach Tint - The packaging is a small, unbreakable squeeze tube, easily applied with the fingers which means I didn't need to pack a big blush brush.  I could have skipped this and used my bronzer on my cheeks but it is so small and easy, why not?

Eye Primer -  Bare Mineral 5 in 1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eye Shadow. Wish I could skip this step but I have extremely oily eye lids. For me, this doubles as a shadow primer and also as a brightening shadow on my lid.

Brows - L'Oreal Brow Plumper is a tinted brow gel. I didn't have to carry a brush as I would if I brought my favorite Anastasia brow powder.
L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel
Liner - Stila Waterproof Smudge Stick in Sepia and Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude. I don't use eye liner on my top lid but I do use the Sepia, a pewter, to help define my bottom lid. Black is a huge no no for my eye shape and size. The Nude I use in my bottom waterline to cancel out my redness.

Bronzer and Eye Shadow - Revlon Desert Rose Bronzer. This is stripes of color and swirled together make a lovely matte bronzer. Because it's matte, I can use as contour (which I did not do for a
Revlon Desert Rose Bronzer and Highlight Palette
weekend trip), and several colors work really well in the crease. There is a lighter color strip for under the brow and if I wanted, to lighten the lid and inner corner.

Wayne Goss #04
Eye Shadow Brush - I can use my finger for applying the shadows but the strips are rather narrow in the brozner, above. I gave in and tossed a brush in my bag. I can make any crease brush work for lid, crease, brow bone, inner corner. The shape of the Wayne Goss )4 is very versatile.

Tweezers - Daily, I take Biotin (a vitamin known to promote healthy skin, hair and nails) to keep my thinning hair growing, healthy, and voluminous as well as my nails. Well, it makes all the hair on my body grow faster including my brows. I can't go three days without my tweezers.

What I skipped - A lot! I didn't take a slew of brushes. Let's face it, fingers always work in a pinch. Skipped face primer because I knew I didn't need to look flawless for a 10 hour work day. I do worry about oil breakthrough but I always carry a mattifying pressed powder in my purse and could use that if for some reason I felt moved to touch up while browsing boutiques. I did not, though. As mentioned above, chose not to bring my special red, oily nose concealer. I like my brows better with Anastasia brow powder but the L'Oreal tinted gel gave me enough color, depth and lift. No lash curler which was hard not to bring. That's a habit and really helps open my hooded eyes. This was not a weekend trip to the theater district of New York followed by wining and dining. This was staying at a bed and breakfast in a small, quaint Midwestern town without photo ops standing next to Mickey or Mt. Rushmore in the background. Selfies were banned!

When traveling, I try to take to drug store products whenever possible, I prefer not to travel with  my more expensive items. I always have a Dior lipstick in my purse and that is plenty of luxury for me when traveling.

If I was extremely limited, I could get away with only bringing my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, any mascara and a medium pink lipstick. Knowing how much makeup I own, that sounds crazy! Concealer could work as foundation and even out my lids, lipstick could be doubled as blush. My lashes are long from using Latisse but they are very fine so mascara is important but probably the least important of the three.

Cheers,
Lulu

Weekly Beauty Edit 3.22.2015

Quite a bit of deliveries this week. I could give the inventor of online shopping a huge smooch. Life is grand!

I've been thinking about my hair the past few weeks. I'm not a hair product junkie. When it comes to hair, I like things nice and simple. Simple brown color, simple cut, simple style. Now that I'm wearing my hair longer, I've been curling it with my flat iron, kind of doing that flick of the wrist trick on the ends. The curls give my hair more volume and putting it simply, it's pretty! But my ends are crunchy. I soak them in avocado oil, I use a heat spray, I deep condition regularly, I get a trim regularly. More and more often, I find myself drifting over to hair products and reading reviews. Wow, hair products are quite an emotional and passionate subject, especially when it comes to silicone as an ingredient. Who knew? Does my hair like silicone? I don't know, I've never asked it. Apparently, anyone with hair on their head should know the answer to that question. To silicone or not to silicone, that is the question! Most of my hair care products have silicone - I'm at peace with that.

Big news is that  I'm going to have laser treatments on my face and neck. The treatment is ClearLift and it uses the Amla laser. I sound like I know what I'm talking about but I don't. Not nearly as effective as a  real deal face lift but this laser will tighten skin, even out discolorations, and smooths out lines. It's the tightening I care about. Sagging is horrible! You know I'll take you along on this journey. Will take 3 or 4 treatments, and each treatment is several weeks apart. My skin is in great shape for my age, but the sagging is making me completely nuts.

Haul-A-Lulu
Soap and Glory Discovery Set - this was a steal of a deal at HSN, $19.95 and free shipping but it's back up to full price.

Best of Becca LE at Ulta

Becca Best of Becca Collection - this was limited edition to Ulta and is now sold out

IT Cosmetics Build-A-Brow 5 in 1 Micro Fiber Cream Stain - IT Cosmetics has truly ridiculous product names!

Cover FX Custom Cover Drops - these are liquid, pure pigment colors you add to moisturizer, primer, a foundation to adjust color or coverage, BB cream, etc. to give it the color and coverage you want.

Laura Mercier LE Ritual Blush Bronzer - angels singing! I missed this LE in 2013 and was thrilled Laura Mercier released it again.

Skinn Body Bronzing Oil - a hint of color that leaves a hydrated sheen on the

The Wet Brush Detangler - used it tonight, not sure, jury is still out. My wide tooth comb does pretty good.

Threshold (Target) Super Absorbing Turbans - these are thicker, softer, more substantial and in general higher quality than the Turbie Twist. I could never go back to a Turbie Twirst. Target's comes in really cute patterns and are two in pack, found in the towel and bathroom decor section, usually an end cap.

Spa Skincare
Monday - Philosophy Microdelivery Triple Acid
Brightening Peel

Wednesday - 15% Lactic Acid  Peel followed by raw, organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized honey mask

Sunday - Eve Lom Rescue Mask ........A highly effective deep-cleansing treatment, this multi-award winning mask is an instant fix for sluggish, stressed out skin. Formulated with honey-infused kaolin clay, camphor and almond extracts, this multi-tasking treatment tackles a number of skin concerns, from blotchiness and breakouts to jet-lagged complexions and morning-after puffiness. A weekly deep-clean for your skin, its unique formula purifies without stripping or drying, softening and conditioning to leave your complexion beautifully smooth and glowing. Redness and irritation are soothed and calmed, while excess oil is absorbed for a beautifully balanced complexion.

Early Edition Reviews

Clinique Beyond  Perfecting Foundation + Concealer
This is an excellent foundation for those with dry to very dry skin. Normal to Combination could like it if they like a glowy look. The foundation is thick and creamy, spreads easily and coverage is medium to full, leaning to full. You will look like you have makeup on. To me this is a formal makeup. I don't know about you but there are times I WANT to look like I'm wearing a full face.Lasts 8 hours, needs to be set as it takes a long time to dry down, very large color range, no scent. I wore it over my Make Up For Ever Mattifying Primer and I set it with Mac Blotting Pressed Powder. I wasn't oily but I was glowy in three hours so had to pat down.

Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer
This is a concealer with a learning curve. It is thick, almost as paste that needs to warmed up by gently rubbing some between your fingers. Less is more, you can easily add another layer. It needs to be patted on...pat pat pat and then that pat and roll action. It stays tacky. That is my downfall. I tried setting it with Hourglass Diffused (yellow one) and Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. I NEVER set my under eye concealer. Ugh, the lines! In both cases, I had to gently pat on a lightweight under eye cream after a couple of hours. I tried to use less the second time I used it and it helped. If you use IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye, Amazing Concealer is IT on steroids but comes in a ton of colors. Maybe it is best to use on the face covering spots and then your regular foundation will adhere to it. No idea.

Weekly Headlines
I started depotting! Unfortunately, I started with my Urban Decay Naked Palette instead of my singles but it got me in the mood, tools are out, and I'm ready to roll.

My birthday is in the month of March so my present from Sephora for VIB Rouge members arrived this week, two lip crayon and one is their velvet matte. I didn't buy it! It does not count toward my 2015 Beauty Resolutions!

Edits and Deletes

Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara - I don't like this mascara because it's a fiber mascara and the fibers flake off. I didn't realize it was a fiber mascara when I bought it. Delete.

Perricone Cold Plasma Eye - I cannot get past the scent. This is not what I want to smell as I'm falling asleep. It's not his famous dead fish baking in seaweed smell but almost. I will edit down the amount I'm using and then it might not be so bad. Will also stop using it on upper lids all together. Edit amount of product used and where it is used.

Cheers,
Lulu

Weekly Beauty Edit 3.15.2015

I hope you subscribe and follow by email!

Complete turnaround in the weather around here this week. Walked out my door in the morning and birds were singing! Ran around town today without a jacket on. Was it yesterday we had a 40 below wind chill? Last week I was in love with peach colors on my lips and my cheeks. The love affair continued this week, especially with the weather warming up. Also had a bit of a throwback to hot rollers!

Lip-A-Looza
Lipstick is my crack. Along with foundation. And shower gels. Maybe mascara, too. Give me a moment to think about his. I've decided. Lipstick and foundation are both my crack.

I love everything about lipstick. Looking at all the pretty colors. Seeing lipstick on women. Chanel and Maybelline ads in magazines. Applying lipstick is glorious. I'm getting rather spoiled by all the new technology of lip stains. At the same time, I miss pulling my lipstick out of my handbag to reapply throughout the day. I'll let you in on a little secret, I reapply even when I don't need to!

Every woman needs a red lipstick. Don't give up the search! It may take you 10 years but when you find it, you will feel like you rule the world. How does the song go? Ain't no mountain high enough!

I added six new lipsticks to my stash this week. Two Maybelline, one Wet N Wild, one Buxom, one Sephora Collection and one NYX.  Photo right, top to bottom, Wet N Wild 513C Ready to Swoon, Maybelline 055 Pinkalicious, Maybelline 525 Peachy Scene. Photo left is Buxom Pop of Passion Oil-Balm in Pink Passion and Sephora
Cream Lip Stain in Pink Souffle

Empties
Philosophy Microdelivery Triple-Acid Brightening Peel - my Monday night routine!
Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment - apparently my definition of hydrating is not the same as Glamglow's definition - not a hydrating thing about this...and I have oily skin! Much better off with a box of sheet masks from TJ Maxx.
Isomers Synchronizer Cell Renewing Complex - I use an enzyme exfoliating serum every night and
this is one I have in rotation along with Perricone Blue Plasma and Skinn Translucence.
Yardley English Lavender Soap - this is a holy grail item for me, the perfect lavender from first use to a sliver. I have one in each drawer as well as in the shower.
Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint Wallflower - I use this vanilla peppermint scent all year long. I don't know why I put this in my empties pile since it's a house thing. Oh well.

Nail Polish News
Wet n Wild Red Red
Wet N Wild in Red Red - love the new bottle shape of Wet N Wild polishes. This is a true red that leans to the pink side rather than the orange side or blue side of red.

Essie 2015 Bridal Collection and the name is beyond perfect...Have Your Husband for Dessert. Nail polish names, thanks to Suzi at OPI, are as clever as can be. I think, though, my favorite nail polish name is in this collection. Happy Wife, Happy Life. It's another true red but leans to the orange. I may have to buy it just for the name because I'm not a fan of orange leaning reds on myself unless I have a tan. Those days are gone!

Julep Whitney - is the color I sported most of this week. This color is new to my collection but has found a home in my Top 20.

From the Archives
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation - this brand was carried in the US until a few years ago. It's a drug store brand and owned by Chanel. This Bourjois formula is often claimed as a dupe for Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. I don't think so, not in the least. This is a lovely foundation, good for 3 or 4 hours, perfect for dinner and a movie, Sunday services, or my favorite, grocery shopping! It's particularly kind to mature skin and I would think ladies with dry skin would love this. My oily skin looks great with this foundation but to use it I need to use a mattifying primer and set with powder or I will be shining within an hour. I wear shade 55 for my MAC NC 30-35, medium color skin with warm undertones. It is only sold in Europe and I buy mine from asos.com
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum and Smashbox Designer Blush

Smashbox Smashing Designer Blush - Smashbox used to be one of my favorite brands, maybe 10 or 15 years ago. At some point, in my opinion, the quality dropped. It was before Estee Lauder bought them so that was not the turning point. Their shadows and blushes got very powdery and the pigmentation was awful. I was looking for peachy blushes this week and pulled out this one. I used to love this blush, I'm almost hitting pan.

Swoonworthy
Rocky theme song, please! I depotted my Urban Decay Naked palette. I know one of my 2015 Beauty Resolutions was to depot my single eye shadows. But depotting is depotting! I'd like to consolidate my favorite shades from Naked 1 and Naked 2 into one Z-Palette. I am swooning proud of myself!

Edits and Deletes
Tarte Gifted Mascar
Tarte Gifted Mascara - this was a delete for me, it left little clumps on my lashes. I know it was a fresh tube as it was part of the TSV on QVC a few weeks ago. It's not terrible but it is annoying and I've got no time for annoying. It didn't clump my lashes together, it left little clumps on my lashes.
Most of us know mascara gets better after it's been open a couple of weeks but the clumps remained. Delete. On a side note, Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes is one of my Top 10 mascaras.

Chi Smart Hot Rollers - love the effect of a gorgeous head of curls now that I'm wearing my hair longer. I use a flat iron to curl the bottom third of my hair most mornings but worry about the damage. These are wonderful but I should have done my homework. There are sets at Target and Wal-Mart for less than half the price of these, same ceramic technology and with more rollers. I will return the Chi and buy Remington. Edit!

Cheers,
Lulu

Weekly Beauty Edit 3.08.2015

How was your week? Wish I could hear each of your answers. I always wonder who is on the other side of this blog, who is reading this, do you find it helpful, what would you like to read about? I've been at this a few months now and I want to take the time to say Thank You! This little blog of mine has been read over 1500 times. I realize there are bloggers who get that many clicks in an hour but to me, it is mind boggling that you, whoever you are, have clicked through to my blog over 1500 times. Thank you.

My week was filled with oggling new items on the Sephora site.Guerlain has a new bronzer, Terracotta Joli Teint Powder Duo. Swoon. Sephora starting carrying Kevyn Aucoin. Ladies, the struggle is real! I only have one face.

This Week's Cheeks
About 10 years ago, I only wore peachy shades on my cheeks. I was a peach on the cheeks and coral on the lips kind of girl. For the past few years, I embraced pink, especially cool pinks. With my warm undertones, I avoided cool tones for years. Well, that was silly! This week, I was back in the mood for peaches and apricots. I toned a few down, in deference to the weather, with Chanel Jersey.

Blushes this week included Revlon Photoready Coral Reef, MAC My Highland Honey, MAC Supercontinental, and Laura Geller Baked Elements Siena.

Empties
Suave Moroccan Infusion Conditioner - I don't think I have ever finished a bottle of shampoo or conditioner. Gasp. I didn't finish this one, either. Didn't close it all the way and it dripped out. This one left my hair a bit flat. The scent reminds me of Donna Karen Cashmere Mist, which I'm not a fan of but many are.

e.l.f. Makeup Remover Exfoliating Cleansing Cloths - I use cleansing cloths to clean swatches off my arms, not to remove face makeup. These are very abrasive. If you like that, these have your name on them!

Philosophy Microdelivery Triple-Acid Brightening Peel - used one up last week and will for the next few weeks.

Algenist Genius Vitamin C Serum - deluxe sample size, lasted me about two weeks. I use a Vitamin C serum every morning, first step after cleansing. This one has a slightly gel like texture with a very slight floral medicinal scent. It was fine but not at this price point, $115 for 1 oz. Say what? Algenist, you're getting on a high horse! Lots of great 20% Vitamin C serums for great prices. Search amazon.

Bare Mineral 5 in  1 BB Cream Eyeshadow Blushing Apricot - used this as my eye lid primer. Did an excellent job covering my redness and tea stains, prevented creasing all day, and applied smoothly without dragging. However, blending powder shadows was not as smooth as it is with Urban Decay Primer Potion or Milani Shadow Primer. I want to try the new one from Smashbox.

Philosophy 3 in 1 Shower Gel Barely Glazed - this is truly momentous. I have finished a shower gel. Hear the orchestra playing? Loved this scent. Delicious but not overly sweet or too bakery. Put me in a happy mood, no easy feat in the morning. I will repurchase this scent. Probably in 2018.

philosophy 3 in 1 barely glazed
Haul-A-Lulu
Julep March Subscription Box - Whitney, a creamy greige that leans brown and I love, and Ali, a creamy mint green. Ali sure is pretty and I might be tempted later in the summer. The full size makeup item was black liner.

Porcelana Dark Spot Corrector plus Moisturizer - Palmer's changed the formula of my most favorite Eventone Fade Milk. They replaced the hydroquinone with niacinamide and licorice root, both known to work on fading spots. Sorry, I want hydroquinone. I use Fade Milk every other night on my arms and hands to prevent age spots. I'm really not liking the thickness of Porcelana or the metallic floral scent. Will have to check amazon or ebay for the original Eventone Fade Milk. Pretty sure I'll be returning the Porcelana.

eSalon Hair Color - I did it! Succumbed to the ads! Outstanding experience with the entire process, very helpful customer service. I was supposed to use it tonight but postponing to tomorrow. Wasn't in the mood for coloring hair tonight. Am I ever?

Hard Candy Plumping Serum Lipstick 851 Infamous - a bright pink with a smooth pearly finish. This is very hydrating, a little too much for me. Wonder if it will feather. My lips feel very slippery. Excellent opaque coverage, glides on, and a great price at $5. Hard Candy is only sold at Walmart.

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Protection Spray - I've been doing research on heat protectant sprays. Do they really matter? Is it marketing? Will it save my hair from breaking? After copious reading and learning about ingredients and the science of  hair cuticles, the answer is yes. Of all the articles I read, this blog post by Beauty Brains was the easiest to understand. Heat protectant sprays make a difference. Lovely, one more step in the routine. I chose this one based on the ingredients. Not thrilled with the perfume-y scent, hope it doesn't linger.

OCC Skin Conceal Y2 - I've been happy with Dermablend Cover Creme as the concealer I use on my oily, broken capillary nose. It takes a very dry, wax based concealer to help with this nose. Not easy to find since most concealers are made to glide on and blend seamlessly. I read a review that OCC's concealer was very dry, even though OCC claims it is hydrating. I believed the reviewer rather than the marketing claims and bought it. So far so good. I did a side by side experiment for two days, not any better than Dermablend. The OCC is much more compact and will be perfect to carry in my makeup bag. Happy.

Wet N Wild Ready to Propose

Mani of the Week
Wet N Wild Ready to Propose - Bought this last week and couldn't wait to wear it. Wore like iron! This photo is after 6 days of wear and each of my 10 nails look this good. Two coats of polish, base coat was Revlon Colorstay (which I stocked up on, thank you amazon) and top coat was NYC In a New York Minute. This polish applied like a dream, no drag marks, even coverage, no puddling in the cuticles. Gorgeous!

Cheers,
Lulu

2015 Beauty Resolutions: February Report Card

I make New Year's Resolutions and have for decades. I take my resolutions very seriously, give them great thought and by New Year's Eve have a tight, realistic list. As corny as it sounds, they've helped shape my adult life. This year is the first time I also made a 2015 Beauty Resolution List. My "life" list never exceeds 5 items. I had 12 items on my 2015 Beauty Resolutions. Uh oh. Each month, I'm doing a report card on myself and here are February's results.....
1. Continue my passion for foundation with testing and buying ~ Grade A ~ I bought 4 new foundations in February.

2. I will not buy any more matte lipstick ~ Grade A  ~ Temptation was fierce this month with Sephora Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Colors, Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick and Milani's new Matte line calling my name. I actually had Sephora Luster Mattes in my cart thinking I would add a gloss over them. I don't like using gloss. I deleted them out of my cart. My wrinkly lips thanked me!

3. I am re-committing to using Rogaine twice daily ~ Grade A- ~ I'm applying once daily and most days will apply twice daily. I've been reading mixed directions about women needing to apply twice daily; women should be ok with once daily. Will do more research.

4. I will color my roots every three weeks ~ Grade A ~ Have kept up with the schedule rather than slipping to every 4 to 5 weeks.

5. I will do everything that is humanly possible to resist cutting bangs ~ Grade A ~ I almost cut bangs on Saturday. Went to get my hair trimmed by about an inch and when the Stylist asked me what I had in my mind, "Bangs" almost came out of my mouth. Have mercy! I heard the music from the Psycho shower scene in my head. "Just a one inch trim and more layers, please." Crisis avoided.

Depotting: Grade F
6. I will depot all my single eye shadows and organize them into Z-palettes ~ Grade F ~ Detest depotting and all 1000 of my single eye shadows are wasting away until I do. Maybe I'll become a 'palette only' girl.

7. I will not buy any eye liners. I rarely, more like never, wear eye liner with these hooded lids of mine ~ Grade A ~ Happy to say I wasn't even tempted!

8. Lip liner - Either I'm committing to not buying more or I'm committing to using the ones I have ~ Grade A ~ I didn't buy and I didn't use the ones I have which helped me not buy any. Makes perfect sense to me so I get an A!

9. I will train myself to gently pat my face dry instead of rubbing the heck out of it with the towel ~ Grade F ~ Why is this so hard for me to do? I probably need to put a little sign above my towel hook that reads PAT.

10. I will not buy any more vintage perfume from ebay no matter how spectacular the ebay feedback is or how sterling the seller's reputation is on the secondary market ~ Grade A ~ I should give myself an A+ on this one. I found a bottle of vintage Arpege on ebay (why was I even looking???) and I thought about it for days and days. And days. I'm still thinking about it. Oh, to have one more whiff of that wonderful perfume.

11. No more buying body wash until I'm down to three or four or five bottles ~ Grade A ~ If I deserved an A+ on not buying a vintage bottle of Arpege, then I should get an A++++ on this one. I think I stood in front of the shower gels at Walgreens for 10 minutes trying to talk myself out of, into, out of, into, out of buying shower gels. Surprised the Store Manager didn't call the folks with the white jacket for me.
Should I buy shower gel or not?

12. I will continue my personal campaign to encourage all women everywhere to wear lipstick all the time ~ Grade A ~ This is my calling!

FINAL GRADE: A- Too bad I'm not my own mother, I could post on Facebook how proud I am of little Lulu and her grades! I'm thinking I need to reward myself with a bottle of body wash <insert evil grin>

Cheers,
Lulu
